Volunteer!
So, you are interested in making a difference and wondering how you can do this? Listed below are some ways that you can get involved with us:
Work to do:
- Disaster Relief Volunteers - Do you desire to reach out and make a difference? Reach out to us and let us know what skills and attributes that can impact.
- Contributing Author - A contributing author is someone who can write content for the webpage and newsletters. We have so many stories that can be told, information to be shared. Can you help us?
- Editors - Do you have editing skills? SU can use volunteers to edit before posting online or sending out electronically
- Newsletter Editor - Are you skilled in putting articles and pictures together? We would love to have you join us.
- Social Media platforms - Are you good at making stories for Facebook and Instagram? Reach out to us, as we would love to have someone able to assist us with getting news out through these and other Social Media platforms.
- Board Member - Do you have financial skills and talents? SU is looking for a like-minded individual to volunteer as treasurer.
Raise Awareness and Funds:
- Join our prayer list and pray for the work.
- Sign up for our Newsletter and learn more about SU and caring for the displaced.
- Share our information on social media.
- See if your group would be interested in having SU come to share.
- Consider doing a fund raising for Sojourners United. Every little bit makes a difference!
- Directly support some of Sojourners United's projects and help us be positioned to respond when disaster strikes.
