Karla Morgan, Incorporator and President

Karla Morgan is a Nurse with a Masters in Public Health from Tulane University's esteemed International rich program which had over 100 nations in attendance. She has a degree from Mc Master University in Physical Education that emphasized scientific research and critical thinking. Karla has an avid expeditionary spirit, has lived overseas in Japan and Saudi Arabia for nearly five years, and has made many medical related trips dating from 1986 to areas such as the Philippines, Kenya, along with numerous trips into the Middle East that includes Turky, Iraq and Syria.  

Eric Morgan, Incorporator and Treasurer

Eric Morgan is a retired United States Army Colonel, Family Physician who is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians with a Masters in Public Health focused on administrative medicine, and a faculty development fellowship that emphasized teaching, research, and leadership. During his nearly thirty years in the military, he was a residency director, led various medical facilities for over 15 years ranging from clinics to medical centers, and lead all of the medical elements for the Army National Guard as Chief Surgeon. International assignments spanned multi-year experiences in Japan and Saudi Arabia, along with short trips to Yap, Kuwait, Afghanistan and Pakistan..

David Hassler, Director and Secretary

David Hassler is a retired Texas board certified estate planning and probate attorney and Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel with 43 years in private law firm practice. In his law practice, he represented multiple profit and non-profit business, charitable, and religious entities in regard to legal formation and operation, governance issues, personnel administration, and transactional matters. David has served on the boards and as an officer of multiple charitable and religious organizations, including the Texas State Heart Association, the El Paso Symphony Orchestra and its Foundation, the Texas Tech Alumni Association, El Paso Young Life, the Providence Memorial Hospital Foundation, and the Yucca Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

Roger Scalice, Director

Roger Scalice brings invaluable insights and perspectives as a teacher and pastor who has lived many years overseas. A University of Southern California graduate with a degree in speech communication, he then received a teaching credential and taught at Fallbrook High School in San Diego County for 5 years. He was called to follow Christ and became a pastor in 1979, pastoring in Everett Washington until receiving the call to the Philippines as a missionary. His family was in the Philippines from 1983 until 1996. Roger subsequently pastored 7 years in Big Bear California and later for 3 years in Monterey California. For the last eight years he has resided in Chico California and has pastured for 5 and 1/2 years a church that is now called Christ International Fellowship. Very simply, he is a servant of Jesus, a child of God. He has been married for 49 years and has four children and 12 grandchildren. To God be the glory!
