Ukraine (March to April 2023)

Please unite with us in prayer as Karla and Eric prepare to travel to help those in the Ukraine March 5 to April 5 2023.

We will be partnering with a Christian crisis relief group, Plain Compassion Crisis Relief (PCCR). They have been there since conflict arose and have two aid bases. We will help their southern base by adding higher end medical capabilities to their ongoing medical aid and food distribution activities. We desire to physically, and spiritually bring the peace and restoration of Christ into hearts and shattered lives.

Please pray for:

• God's spiritual emotional, physical equipping: we desire to bring as much medical gear and medicine as possible (We can each take up to ten 50 pound bags at $200 a bag). Pray we pack the "right" supplies. In coordination with local medical professionals, we  have identified and gathered over three hundred pounds of chronic medicines and antibiotics that are in critical short supply in the front-line villages where pharmacies, hospitals and clinics are non-existent.  
• Our ability to connect with the body of Christ: to help them physically, and to encourage and comfort them spiritually. Through perseverance, and the encouragement of the Scriptures we may have hope (Rms 15: 4). 
• Our ability to communicate: Karla knows some Russian and is reviewing Ukrainian. Pray for recall and expressive ability. (She understands more than speaks) Eric only knows "I love you" and "Jesus loves you" in Russian, so this will be an entirely new language for him. Pray that our actions will communicate God's love when words fail. Pray that His Spirit will bring healing, growth, and repair.
